While she considered a career as a mountaineer of medium sized mountains, Jena is impassion by creating.  Growing up in rural vermont and living in Boston has cultivated her interest in the origins, implications, and complications of our relationship with the natural world today. She makes photographs, books, and builds terrarium from her studio in Somerville with her faithful sidekick and cat Sophie. She is available upon commission.
